Is Workmines a Scam? The Shutdown is REAL!

Have you joined Workmines recently? Perhaps you have been a long time member? In any event their pay policy is to allow folks to process their withdrawals on Fridays. Unfortunately, for many members it did not go according to plan.

Is Workmines a Scam? Is Workmines completely shutdown or is it just a temporary setback? What happens to all the money that you have invested into it? And lastly if you have lost out, what do you do?

If you are reading this, chances are that you are in a state of panic or uncertainty. It's not a good feeling knowing that you might have lost some of your hard earned monies here. I am truly sorry for you.

I will do my best to give you as much information as I can on the latest on Workmines. There may be some readers who are not familiar with the Workmines business opportunity. For this reason, I have included a brief introduction. You can skip these sections, and head over to parts that interests you.

WHAT IS WORKMINES ALL ABOUT?

Workmines is a site that pays you for watching videos. In addition, they have a referral program that allows you to earn money from anyone whom you invite to the platform.

The point behind Workmines to bring two parties together. On the one hand you have the Advertisers. They require more brand exposure to a specific audience.

On the other hand, there are folks out there who want to make money online. The Workmines company came into operation in 2017, with it's headquarters based in Latvia.

IS WORKMINES FREE FOR ITS MEMBERS?

I have reviewed many 'get paid to' sites and not one of them charged its members a joining fee. Yes, some of them paid out really measly amounts like this one, but they never asked you to pay to join them.

With Workmines you can earn money for free for the first 14 days only. Thereafter you have to take out a premium subscription. They have various membership levels from which one could choose from.

Workmines compensation plan

The Workmines compensation plan is pretty straight forward to understand. The higher the plan you purchase, the more videos you watch, and ultimately the more money you would earn.

For instance if you were on the $39 plan, you could only get paid for 4 videos on a daily basis. Whereas if you were on the $208 plan, you can get paid for 22 videos.

You can also earn more per referral should you purchase a higher package. You can only earn $0.4 daily for each referral if you are on the $39 plan as opposed to $2.2 if you were on the $208 plan.

One of the things that was a warning sign to me when Workmines was in full operation was the pay structure.  It appeared to operate more like a pyramid scheme.

From the comp.plan above its evident that one can earn only so much from watching videos. The reason for this,is that they capped the amount of videos that you could watch. However, there were no limits as to how much you can earn by introducing new members into the scheme.

In other words, more focus on the recruiting side of things. Is there a Ponzi scheme at work here as well?

Quite possibly.I believe that Workmines could have very well been a Ponzi scheme. The funds received from the members are used to pay for the existing members.

Once members stop joining, the funds dries up, the owner take refuge leaving many people sad, angry and disappointing.

Which is where we are at today.

IS WORKMINES SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD?

If you are one of the active Workmines members, then you might recognize the image that follows.

Is Workmines a Scam The site is pulled down from the internet

The official Workmines.com website is offline.

The owners have played their cards well here. There is no way that one can contact them. They left nothing that one could use to trace back to them.

Is workmines a scam

It's disheartening to see so many folks who take to YouTube to search for the answers. I came across one video where the owner still feels that there is hope, that perhaps it has all been just a mistake.

The sad reality, is that the domain name is parked. That means it's not going to be coming up anytime soon. That means that if you have invested in Workmines, your money is gone.

I think the more disappointing part, is that you have invested a great deal of your precious time. Time is one commodity which we cannot get back.

I know that it might be easier said than done but forgive yourself. I have been scammed and it's not a great feeling, but hey you know the famous line, "what does not kill you makes you stronger!"

WHERE DO YOU GO FROM HERE AND WHAT DO YOU DO?

While I was reading some of the YouTube comments, someone mentioned that another system has been already developed to replace Workmines.

In my opinion, it certainly is possible. These days scammers spring up at an alarming rate. They do not waste any time.

Their site might look different, the wording may be changed, the emotional triggers are better than before, yet the point behind it all is still the same- to steal your money (and time).

I have reviewed many products and have learned to pick up on the common red flags. I would like to share them with you, so that whenever you come across an opportunity, you will know what to look out for.

This is what you should look out for,

(1) No Contact Details

Why would someone who wants to do business with you not reveal their contact details?Maybe its because they are looking at taking from you rather than helping you.

(2)No Owner/No Founder

Would you do business with someone whom you never met? Exactly, treat your online business relationship the same way.

Make sure that there is a legitimate person behind the person venture.

(3)Unrealistic Commission Claims

I have reviewed a 'get paid to ' site recently called Paytime.top. They offer a $10 bonus just for signing up. Though it sounds like 'easy money' they have made it very hard to get to the threshold limit. The tasks pay very little once completed.Added to that they have no proof that anyone has earned from using their services.

Nobody in their right mind will give you money for nothing. There is always a catch.

(4)Fake or No Testimonials

If you cannot find any real testimonials or proof of earnings, check YouTube or do a Google search. You can also ask their support, if you are luck enough to have an e-mail address on hand.

You may come across words such as ' its the path to quitting your day-job,' or 'getting rich quick,' or 'autopilot system,' etc. You might even be pressured to taking action as it's a 'limited time offer.'

Do not fall for any of these tactics.

If you are still not sure at the end of the day, let me know. I would be happy to do a review for you.

Cool. Before I leave you I have one important question to ask you.

WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR TIME TO REALLY COUNT?

They say that one of the best things to invest in, is yourself - you get the best 'interests'

If you are tired of scams and want to build a business that has passive income potential, then it starts with investing in yourself. Yes, it will take time and some effort.

At the end of the day you are investing in your future.Eventually you will have an asset that will allow you to earn without having to trade your time for money.

  1. Hello there,

Thank you for the article, it was very useful. The thing that is most worrying is that you’re right, scam sites pop up more often nowadays. It’s our job to be well informed and not fall for their traps.

P.S. Your Nr 1 Recommendation leads back to the same page. Might want to fix that.

    Cheers!

  2. I pity those guys who invested in WorkMines and still hoping they can back their money. I got your point about their pay structure looking a lot like pyramid scheme. An interested person would likely go with their flow because the more money you invest, the more video opportunity you can get, plus a bigger rate for your recruits. Yep, sounds very much like it. What’s dismaying  is that a lot of people is still victimized by this. They must probably have a good clickbait to attract these online investors.

Thanks to guys like you for posting warning signs so people can avoid being scammed. I don’t think they can ever get back their money but I’m positive that they learned something from this scamming incident. There are lots of legit online businesses. But before you join, make a lot of research. It wouldn’t hurt you to spend an hour or less just to check.

  3. I’d thought for once I’d take a better approach to earning money online. By that I mean, rather than see a site that offers plenty and then find out the hard way that none of their claims are true, I am trying to find out what to look for and avoid. I’ve been slowly working my way through reviews of ‘scam’ sites and I found this review. Thank goodness. I was not familiar with ‘Workmines’ but have come across similar sites where you are basically selling your time. In my experience these types of sites are giving out a very low hourly wage, if you work it out. Similar to surveys. Accountability is obviously not a top priority on this particular site. I am glad you have given me some pointers on what to look for when searching for opportunities. Unfortunately it is the world we live in where there seems to be a lack of integrity. There will be many who have not only invested their money in the membership but also have money sat in the website waiting to be withdrawn, now it’s all gone. I now have a number of reviews to look through on your site to help me see what else to look out for.

    • Sure, take a look at my site. Let me know if you need me to have a look at your site. If you need help with anything, just give a shout.

You are right, in this world, there are lots of folks who do not have integrity. At the same time, you also have people who want to do good and want to help people. It can be in the health field, the business environment, etc.

I think we all have a choice. The decision that we make at the end of the day ultimately shapes our destiny.

Wish you tons of success in your business.

  4. Dear Roopesh,

I was looking for some additional information on workmines and your review post is a greater help and time saver.

On a daily basis 100’s of make money online products and programs are introduced. It is really hard to find which program is a scam and which one is genuine. The advice you provided on finding out scams and to stay away from it is very helpful and it’s a must read for everyone.

I really feel bad for the people who lost money. Since 2008 I have lost nearly $4000 to scams and to the products which under-delivered so I know the pain and how it feels.

Indeed, investing in ourselves is the best investment we can make. Building our own online business is the only way to earn money online instead of chasing these types of scam make money online opportunities.

    Much Success!

    • Dear Paul

I am so sorry to hear about your experience. 4K is certainly is a lot of money. I can relate to how it must have felt.

You hit the nail on the head. Building your own online business allows one to take charge and accountability. In this way, you are responsible for putting in all the effort. The best perk is that all the profits come to you at the end of the day. It’s hard work, but it’s rewarding.

Hope that all is going well on your side?

      Do take care

  7. I had heard something about Workmines before. How sad and frustrating for the poor members involved. I’ve seen similar systems on survey sites where you have to watch a lot of videos to get just a few measly points in return (and that’s with no joining fee). Judging by your evidence, they’re definitely gone. I wasn’t familiar with the Ponzi scheme, do you come across that quite often? There are so many ways to run scams these days, it’s hard to know. Your tips are very helpful, so hopefully I won’t make the same mistakes, thank you!

Thanks so much for stopping by. I think that it depends on the type of system or product that I am reviewing. Not all of them are Ponzi schemes.

Glad that you found the tips helpful.
