FB Dollars Review – Is FBDollars.com a Scam? 3 Red Flags Exposed!

Hi there and welcome to my FB Dollars review. It sounds pretty cool that someone is willing to pay you $500 per month just for using a part of your Facebook account that you are currently not utilizing.

Is FB Dollars a scam? Can you trust the FBDollars.com website and most importantly, can you really make money from signing up with these guys?

I am glad that you are taking the time to research this opportunity before jumping right in.

Even though it's a free opportunity, it does not necessarily mean that it's a legit one. Today, I am going to help you come to a decision by revealing the truth behind FB Dollars.

Despite the rise in online scams, there are still legit ways of making money online.

NAME OF PRODUCT: FB DOLLARS

WEBSITE: www.FbDollars.com

WHAT IS ABOUT?: Renting out your FaceBook Business account.

DO I RECOMMEND IT : No

HOW DOES FB DOLLARS WORK?

So, you probably have a Facebook account, right?

Everyone who owns a Facebook account, has a feature to incorporate a business page. This business page can be separate from your personal Facebook profile.

For instance, if you take a look at my Facebook profile, it's Roopesh Govind. It looks like this.

At the same time, I have a business page as well and that is PassiveIncomeforAll.

This is where FB Dollars comes into the picture. They claim that they are a social media marketing agency that specializes in Facebook advertising.

They are interested in renting the business side of your Facebook account from you. They claim that whatever they do, it will not interfere with your personal side of Facebook posting. In exchange, they will pay you $500/per month.

However, there are certain criteria that you need to meet before they can accept you.

You need to:

  • Have at least a 100 friends on FaceBook,
  • Have a genuine FaceBook account,
  • Be 21 years of age or older,
  • Have an account that is older than 1 year,
  • Make sure that you Ad Account is unused or untouched, and
  • Have a PayPal account.

So, in my case, I have used my Facebook Ad Account on a couple of occasions. Guess that means that I do not qualify for this program.

The big question here is, should you sign up with FB Dollars?

It may sound pretty straight forward at first glance. However, I believe that things are not always as they seem to be, and it rings true here.

I uncovered three red flags that you need to check out, before you hand over your Facebook business account to these guys.

FB DOLLARS- THE RED FLAGS, SHOULD YOU RUN AWAY FROM THIS ONE?

RED FLAG NR.1 :NO REAL OWNER OR FOUNDER

Don't you think that it's strange that you are asked to give up a part of your social media account, to someone who does not disclose who they really are?

I mean, in any legit business deal, it makes sense that both parties know each other. This allows for some common ground on which a business relationship can be built upon.

In the case of FB Dollars, there is no such transparency from their side. No contact number, no real proof of an owner or even a decent about me page.

You may as well be dealing with a ghost.

RED FLAG NR.2 :yOUR INFORMATION COULD BE AT RISK!

In order for FB Dollars to be able to rent your Facebook account, you need to install a certain Google chrome extension.

During my research I discovered that this is really not a good idea. The reason being, is that it has the potential of allowing some of your personal information to be exposed.

Whilst we are on this topic, exactly how much power are you really handing over to FB Dollars?

Let me show you, by referring to some excerpts taken from their terms and conditions page.

Firstly, they will be able to monitor your browsing history, your browsing preferences and habits. They can collect information pertaining to the device that you use and the ads that you view or click on. See the screenshot below.

To me it kind of sounds like Big Brother is watching you.

What about the safety and security? Can they guarantee that your account will be secure?

Unfortunately, they cannot. Your personal identifiable information or PII can be exposed, and they will not be held liable, should anything of this sort happen. See screenshot below.

RED FLAG NR.3 :uNHAPPY CUSTOMERS, SAYS IT ALL

Here is a snippet taken from a thread on the Reddit platform of someone who actually tried out FB Dollars.

FB Dollars is a scam with people trying it out and getting nowhere

It shows that this lady is worried, of what will happen to her account, even though she has changed her password. Is it too late? Have the people on the other side already got what they wanted?

If I were in her case, I too would be worried.

So, is FB Dollars a scam?

It's time to end this FB Dollars review with my verdict.

IS FB DOLLARS A SCAM? MY PERSONAL OPINION

I did not get the opportunity to test out their product, as I have already used my Ad Account and therefore I do not qualify according to their criteria.

Having said that, even if this was not the case, I do not think that I would sign up to FB Dollars in the first place.

For one, these red flags already put me in a hesitant position. The other fact is that you hear stories of people's Facebook accounts being hijacked all the time, as well as other common Facebook scams that puts one on high alert.

Let's not forget that should you give them the power to rent out your business account, you will have no control over what they advertise on it. It could be drugs for all we know.

You stand the risk of getting your Facebook account banned. Is it really worth it?

Is FB Dollars a scam? I think that you know my answer by now.

I know that the thought of making $500 sounds inviting, but I think one can end up risking much more here.

In closing, I want to make you aware that you can make real money online. You can make a consistent passive income. I started 4 years ago, and knew nothing about online business or where to get started.

Thanks to this awesome online business teaching platform, I am now earning a consistent passive income online. They offered me the step-by-step lessons, the top-notch support and one of a kind interactive community to help me every step of the way.

  1. Hello Roopesh,

I enjoyed reading your article. I learned a lot, I had  no idea that I could renting out my business page was even an option and after reading this know I will now be very wary of any scams that I might be offered in regards to Facebook.

Thank you for highlighting this scam and for sharing what you have learned from your research. People need to be aware of this type of thing, the unwary would not realise that it was just a ploy to obtain personal information.

  2. Before reading this, I had no idea there were people who would rent your business page. Considering how intimately it is connected to your FB page and your online identity (I’ve had an Ad account disabled for advertising an MLM without reading the fine print). If they have your business account disabled, you cannot have it re-enabled in some cases.

So, if in the future, you decide to start a drop-shipping business, or sell pottery or paintings online, you’ll have to find another way to advertise. I seriously would not sign up for that much exposure.
